ABOUT

Founded in 2019, the Esotericism, Gender, and Sexuality Network (ESOGEN) is a thematic network under the umbrella of the European Society for the Study of Western Esotericism (ESSWE), chaired by Professor Christine Ferguson (University of Stirling) and Dr. Manon Hedenborg White (Södertörn University). ESOGEN aims to foster dialogue on issues of gender and sexuality in Western esotericism, organize conference sessions, workshops, and conferences (open to both junior and senior scholars), and promote high-quality publications and funding bids on the relationship between esotericism and gender and sexuality studies.
